Octopus garden

This painting I just completed and is already SOLD! It is inspired by an octopus siting that occurred on a snorkeling trip. It reminds me of the beautiful underwater world and how much life there is down there it really is teeming with life. Its hard to find octopus out during the day time, but this one came out to stretch a little. This painting was done in acrylic.

Oil Paintings

Water Color

Water color is a challenge for me, but I love working with that medium!
I have a lot of sketches done in watercolor, and I plan to develop them into a complete painting in the near future.

Pen & Ink

Here is a few of my favorite Pen & Ink drawings. I like to draw birds, because they have a lot of detail, and the show personality through their pose. The drawing of the Geisha girl is done in graphite.

cool color paint

I also like to work with cool color in oil and acrylic paints. Here a a few samples of my art work the are of the cool color. I like to work with abstract subject also.

West Indies flair

I have spent a large portion of my life in the Caribbean, growing up in the United States Virgin Islands has influenced some of my painting subjects. I fell in love with the rich blues and green that the island life has to offer. Growing up in the island environment, and being surround by water led me to spending much time underwater, being a certified scuba diver allow me to observe the underwater world that we often neglect to see. So a whole new subject to draw inspiration from emerged from the warm clear Caribbean sea.

Vase With Daffidills

This painting was done in oil, its one of my favorite. It's a promise of spring. The light from outside luminates the daffidills as a center piece for the painting. No matter what time of year it is this painting reminds me of that spring time feeling, and never to lose that.

Artwork Sample

I went around and found some of my later pieces of work. I decided to post them up as a reminder of what I what to do, and a motivation to become the best artist I can be. I want to start product many sketches, get started with one a day. So I would be producing art everyday, that seems so wonderful to surround myself in art. I find myself happiest when I do so.
